Oil and Gas Major
An oil and fuel storage facility located in South Australia had historically used fire fighting foams containing PFAS. The use of these types of foams is being phased out due to the relatively recent understanding of the environmental and human health impacts of PFAS. As such an assessment of the equipment used to deliver the foams was required.
The equipment had undergone a number of cleaning campaigns in order to remove the PFAS and minimise any future impacts. These cleaning campaigns were regularly assessed, which DBD Environmental assisted the client with as an independent environmental consultant.

- Reporting against regulatory requirements
- On-site supervision during cleaning works
